Faroz Fishing Port, located on the coast of Faroz Neighborhood which is famous for its fishermen and football players, is one of the popular symbols of Trabzon. Fishermen hunt picarel, annular seabream, meager (locally known as mavruskil) and the rarely found horse mackerel and red mullet. The fisherman’s cafe in the port with its closed and open areas is open for philosophical debates every day.
