ABOUT ARSİN
Town center is located on the seaboard and has a slope land. Depending on the biome, summers are cool and winters are warm. Temperate climate dominates the area. It was established on the Trabzon-Rize coast line which is 20km east of Trabzon Province. It is surrounded by Araklı on the East, Yomra on the West, the Black Sea on the North and Yagmurdere township of Gumushane on the South. It has 7km seacoast with the Black Sea.
THE PLACE ALL ROADS LEAD: SQUARE PARK
It is a park that has witnessed certain historical events. It is used in the offical ceremonies. It is multifunctional and symbolic. The trees within the park are registered and protected.
ABOUT TONYA
There is no certain knowledge about the first establishment of Tonya but it is understood that it was between the end of 13th century and the beginning of 14th century. With the conquest of Trabzon by the Turks in 1461, Rum Pontus Empire's sovereignty came to an end. Ottoman Period went by with the transculturation of native Rums and Turkish people, who came as immigrants. In this period, both Rum and Turkish cultures interacted with each other. This interaction shows itself even today.
ABOUT ÇAYKARA
The history of town is related to that of Trabzons in general. According to historical reports, the town has been settled down by so many tribes since Hittites.
ABOUT BEŞİKDÜZÜ
According to old documents, Besikduzu was founded with the command of Mahmut II, in 1834 and in 30 November 1948, the municipality was formed and started operating. Besikduzu became a county on 4 July 1987. The county is 45 kilometers west of Trabzon. It has Vakfıkebir on the east, Eynesil on the west, Salpazari and Tonya on the south and the Black Sea on the north. The important streams of our county, which is seafront are Ağasar and Kurbağalıdere, are located in Beşikdüzü.
ABOUT DÜZKÖY
Our county had been a village with the name of “Haçka” before it became a county in 1944 and its name has been changed as “Düzköy” when it became a municipality in 1961.
A QUITE SHOPPING LOCATION: KUNDURACILAR STREET
Kunduracilar Street in Trabzon is parallel to Uzun Street and Kahramanmaras Street. It is closed to traffic and open to shopping. It is one the historical streets of Trabzon.
HAMAMIZADE IHSAN BEY CULTURE CENTER
Located in Iskenderpasha neighborhood, the center has a seminar hall with a seating capacity of 110, a small hall with a seating capacity of 310 and a main hall with a seating capacity of 510.
